Strange how Haddin and Johnson came in for some harsh criticism in here - and now they are both leading the Aussies to victory.

They must have read this thread before they went out to bat today

How about that for a stat by the way - Its been 4 years since Dale Steyn last bowled 15 overs without getting a wicket. Incredible

Edit : And Haddin is gone for 55. 287-7

Johnson is better with the bat than the ball, which is shocking given that he's a bowler!

Amir and Butt are appealing their sentences this morning, decision due anytime now. Amir's team saying he should have been given a suspended sentence and should be released immediately. Butt's lawyers arguing he should have been given a sentence comparable to MP's who fiddled their expenses, whilst admitting for the first time that he WAS involved in spot-fixing at Lords (no shit!). The judge is giving Butt's team a hard time due to him not admitting it / repenting.

Decision due some time around 11.45 (now, basically).
