Blues/Jazz/Folk Etc Music thread

Saw this woman live over the weekend and was blown away. One of the most raw, intense soul/blues singers I've ever seen. How the fuck have I never heard of her before?

She recently made an album of blues interpretations of classic British rock and roll that's just stunning. She sang both of these at the show I was at:

EJi6maTueSc

Singing The Who's Love Reign O'er Me with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend in the audience. The looks on their two faces at the end are brilliant, shaking their heads like they cannot believe what they've just heard.

6kbAaTiSkmE

Stunning take on George Harrison's Isn't It A Pity. I've heard it sung by blues artists before, but never like that.

I love it when you find a new artist that just knocks you flat. And she's been recording music for something like over 40 years, so there's decades worth of material to now go searching through. If they're anything like the recent stuff, I am one happy blues hound.

Don't get me started on this shit Lee - the embarrassing "Grunge or BritPop" almost killed the GF.

Google "Snakestretchers" if you want a goldmine.

One of his best performances of the Thrill is Gone.

The amazing Josh Gooch.

Save the best till last. This is the only known footage of this performance taken that night. If your a guitarist then Bonamassa guitar solo is superb but then whenever these two get together its always outrageous.
