I am still very much to be convinced that Firminho is a world beater, he's come on in leaps but he is still very unpredictable IMO, you just don't know who's going to show up.

The issue with Firmino (apart from the teeth) has always been consistency.  He was dodgy when he came in, but it has gradually improved, and while I suspect he'll never reach the levels of consistency associated with the great players, he's miles better than he was.  As he is with workrate, and intelligent running.  Raw talent not in doubt either.

One thing City have yet to do is defend the (Premier League) title.  On both previous occasions they've seemed to lack hunger and desire the following year and played well within themselves.  Guardiola may well have changed that, from what is often reported about his methods and approach, but if not, Mourinho could yet win a title at United.

 

He will be utterly primed for the above being possible, while their summer will be all about hitting the ground running and battering the no doubt 5 or 6 game run full of dross teams they'll start their campaign with, having played Cardiff City at home on the opening day.

Who is the worst one out of the Anfield Wrap?. I only watched about 5 minutes of one of their videos. It was like someone filming me and my mates talking down the pub about Liverpool then patting each other on the back about how many games we've been to.
