I had some great news today. The guy I asked to look after Patch, sent me these two videos. Little fucker has been missing for a week. I'm mightily relieved. I soooo wish I'd brought him home. The cat, before you ask.

Look at that face.

You're a monster for not bringing him home, RB

Go back and get him - it will make for a good youtube video.

It so would. Honestly, it's soooo difficult. I miss him every day; truly. Thing is, we're away so often, I just don't think it's fair on Patch. Believe me, it's a very close call and even writing this, I'm closing my eyes and shaking my head sadly. If I were a braver woofta, I'd add a crying emoji.

So I'm away on holiday with a couple of mates. One is looking to buy a pug dog. The other says dogs are far more companiable than cats. Just wondered where you guys stand on these two positions?

Should young puffy guy (and his boyf) get a pug? They live in Central London.

Are dogs more "companiable" than cats?

I wouldn't have a cat in central London unless I lived right next to a park or something.

As for the companiable point, depends on that cat. Our wee ginger cat is as friendly as a dog, jumps up on my lap whenever I sit down, our tabby cat is the opposite.
