I'm always mildly amused by how thoroughly disinterested in life The Queen seems to be. I genuinely imagine that's what it's like when you've had a very easy, very long life and there's literally nothing left to say, see or do. The only thing I've ever seen which makes her get off her arse is horse racing, anything else, nuclear war, famine, economic disaster, raises no more than an eyebrow.
