To be fair, I think rico maybe did have a slight point that you were a bit wrong about the diversity and inequality issue. As far as I am aware our new lizard overlord wife is the daughter of a black social worker. It's not like she was a born socialite rich kid or anything really.

Bloody facts.

The faux exasperation post. This usually comes after a contrary article you've found on NewsNow and reference to what 'you lot' have to say about it. It's exceptional bants, even after the 50th time.

It usually comes after someone talks bollocks or is desperately trying to out-lefty another poster.

She's an international film star and most of the guests there were billionaires/millionaires, ethnic or no. She only met a prince because she was moving in the same circles as him - because she was a famous international film star.

It's pure marketing bollocks, like the way Kate Middleton is portrayed as a 'commoner' even though her parents are millionaires from the home counties. Aye, it's real fairytale stuff.

This is how the right does it, the veneer of being socially liberal while being economically right wing. Cameron introducing gay marriage while charging disabled people on benefits 15 fines for an extra bedroom because their wife/husband has to sleep next door. It's bollocks, all of it.

No it doesn't, that's pure lies on  your part.

Someone posts something - anything - with the faint whiff of being liberal/lleft, 'foobank use on the rise' or something,  you  then trawl the internet for a contrary story dug up from The Economist or some shit, 'foobank use good for your teeth', then post it with something glib along the lines of 'what do you lot think about this  then?' and if someone calls it out as bollocks you respond something like 'Jesus' as if the response is unreasonable.

You don't even argue the points, you just post articles or something you've found mostly. Then SD jumps in to back you up, or vice versa. Just can't believe you think it's fun.

But that’s not the case is it? I post in the Trump thread all the time, don’t get any push back there because you agree with me. Weird that you seem to think the Economist is some far right mouthpiece too.

It's a bit pointless really, no characters or interesting people in the monarchy. I liked Diana, mainly because she was a saucy minx that I wanted to bone, but couldn't care less for the rest of them, or be bothered if they were booted out of their palaces and made to live like us commoners.

I think international film star is pushing it a bit. Mildly successful actress who is most famous for a so so TV show that not many people watched. I reckon I watched an episode of Suits a few years back. It was ok, and she was quite good, but hardly star making material.

Anyway, I haven’t read or heard anyone banging on about how she’s great for diversity, mainly because I haven’t been paying attention. So I’m not really arguing.

You also won’t get an argument from me about the monarchy and the associated bollocks of the hysteria of a royal wedding.

Still she’s a half black divorcee American from a broken home, slightly uncommon for the royals anyway, don’t you think?

Diversity and gender equality are now totally mainstream, centrist issues.

I think calling her an international film star is stretching it a bit, she has mainly done series and tv movies, she was for instance uncredited in Horrible Bosses. Never heard of her until she started going out with James Hewitt's lad. Just saying like.

Yeah, me too.

Centrism is the root cause of politically correct, ridiculous shite that the world finds itself pitifully in the middle of these days.

Things like - in Australia - some local councils planning a "Bonfire of the Vanities" book-banning in the future for any kids books referring to people as "he" and "she".

And, people blaming and calling for a ban on McDonald's ads - when they cave in to their kids' daily request to get them a Happy Meal.

We're fucked and far from home, the world.

Shite.

A royal fucking wedding - akin to that weird one involving Lisa Minelli and the emaciated Pavarotti-lookalike some years back, that she allegedly used to beat up - is the fucking least of our problems.

The Daily Heil have been warning her to pipe down about feminism and social justice.

(Skaro may concur.)

Not at all.

She can crap on all she likes about feminism and social justice... but I'm pretty sure she's going to spend more time looking at Diana's hand-me-down boulder on her finger.

And the eventual divorce coffer.

All of which I'm sure she'll give away to the poor, under-privileged and marginalised.

Hahahahaha

Excellent Rico, this really made my day, that magazine... Indonesia is at a cross roads, millennials should rent out their toilets to pay off student debt, Nigeria's oil wealth is being used in a corrupt fashion, we should privatise the NHS, a new study has found you make better decisions when you sleep more, everyone should be able to code, Donald Trump is bad for the republican party, pay low wage workers less it makes them work harder, how captain cook sailed the globe etc...

It could be true love, it could be some form of brand management - show the royals aren't merciless. We'll never know.

I’m just hoping Prince Philip lives long enough to see the 5th in line to the throne be a brown kid with a ginger afro.

As Harry is 6th in line to the throne, that would entail the death of two of the Queen, Charles, William or any of William's kids. Bit harsh.

I'd put them all to the sword if it was up to me Stronts, so maybe I was being kind.
