Maybe I'm being silly but for me this is a must win game. It's a home banker if we go full strength, we need to secure top 4 football and have dropped silly points to have wrapped up a top 4 place already. No resting our top players. Let them play, win the game and then we only need one more point to secure a top 4 place and can go into the Chelsea game a bit more relaxed. Failure to win this and it'll be panic stations until the last game.

Stoke are much better now than the shambles they were under Hughes so let's not fuck about and just get the 3 points.

About time we beat Paul Lambert at Anfield. We always seem to look sluggish and disjointed when we play his teams at Anfield, which is weird because we absolutely destroy his teams at their place. I don't want to see anyone playing safe just because of the following trip to Rome, and the crowd need to rouse themselves for this game too. Usual mantra applies.

Terrified of any injuries here.

It'd be nice to win, but it'd be nice to get a rest for some of our midfield as well. I'd maybe rest Milner, even though he seems to be immune to tiredness, and play Woodburn in his place. Or maybe try TAA in midfield again, just in case we need to do that for the CL final if we get there and have another injury between here and there.

Pretty sure that Jurgen will go full strength, though. He just doesn't seem to really like resting players. Hopefully we're a couple of goals ahead by 60 minutes in and we can rest a few by taking them off.

Cant believe we have Moreno still on the books - paid good money for the fella -- he is in the prime of his career yet I would not play him under any circumstances

I'd have no issues with him playing left wing. He shouldn't ever be near our penalty area though. He's just too thick to be a defender.
