All great thoughts chaps I do appreciate it.

I'm going to hit the fitness in a big way. A healthier obsession.

They are letting me out whenever I want to hit the gym. 5 mile round trip walk. I'll train in the morning early and then go back later in the evening for a swim. 10 mile walk, weights and a swim every day should do the job. If I keep busy drink does not enter my head. Sitting doing nowt gets my thoughts in a bad place.

Well the weight will drop off you like fuck for a start.

The key for me is excepting help and that my coping strategies are fucking shite. 20 odd years I've tried to do it my own way with shitty results. I think that's giving it a fair chance. Time for plan B.

Plan B better work because Plan C is Jeremy Kyle...and everybody knows what the C stands for.

Good luck pal.

One thing I have found through all of this is that you are so paranoid and think you are a nutter having this problem. Yet when you start to address it and talk about it you find that a lot of people you know are either going through the same issues but ignore it or have dealt with it and are continual battling it.

It is only now I know that a lot of my friends are alchies but have no idea.

10 weeks Jennings not days. You are the Guvnor.

10 weeks away from your wife, no questions asked, I wish I would have thought of this when I was married.

Just saw this thread. Good luck to you Anny. You deserve a lot of credit for facing up to the problem and not sweeping it under the carpet. I would imagine you’ll have some tough time over the next 10 weeks so you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Wish I was a bit closer to have a game of golf when you are finished with the treatment.
