Massive kick-off in town

Outside the Grafton Gates

I heard Anny Road bawling :

Bouncers, why have you treated me this way?

It's only quarter past eleven

What's the need for such aggression?

And it's gory around the face of Anny Road.

Blood around the face of Anny Road

Where the bouncers had sent him on his way(right on his way!)

He was dancing with some minger

And tried to slip her the finger

And now it's gory around the face of Anny Road

Seriously. Non of you can have a worse Grafton experience than me.

I danced with a fantastically beautiful woman who made ridiculous sexual advances to me and I did not take advantage of it because she was bladdered. I made my excuses and walked.

10 mins later I was lifted by the bouncers because I had been offensive and abused this girl and got beaten by about 6 of them although 2 or 3 got a good hiding in return.

An ambulalace was called but soon disappeared with the 2 or 3 I had hammered. Not me.

The remaining mob beat the shit out of me except one who I abousloutely twatted in about 20 seconds. He never new what hit him. He was a bloody mess in tears

I was taken away by the cops. They said it was for my own protection as the bouncers were mobbing up to kill me

This should be moved to——http://www.liverpoolway.co.uk/index.php?/topic/82556-bad-bullshitters/page-2

Hong kong Anny, number one super guy

Hong Kong Anny, quicker than those bouncer guys

He's got moves in a groovy style

and a right jab that just won't stop

When the going gets rough, he's super tough

with a Hong Kong Anny uppercut

I went to grab a granny the other night.

Ended up in an almighty fight.

The granny was tidy, especially nice.

She took a look at me, never looked twice.

I decided to leave it, I'm that type of guy.

Within minutes the fists started to fly.

The bouncers took offence as the lady was known.

Next thing I know, I'm on my own.

They came at me mob handed, they needed to be.

First thing I did was a flying knee.

Dickie bows were flying, it was intense.

Outside we went, I threw one over a fence.

The battle continued at a good pace.

The beating they were given, they were a disgrace.

Eventually they gave up, they knew they were done.

Another night at the Grafton. Just a bit of fun.

Noted for it's clientele, and known all over the city.

Just another day in the life of Walter Mitty.

He drinks a Whiskey drink, he drinks a Vodka drink

He drinks a Lager drink, he drinks a Cider drink

He sings the songs that remind him of the good times

He sings the songs that remind him of the best times

(Oh Anny Boy, Anny Boy, Anny Boy)

I get knocked down, but I get up again

You are never gonna keep me down

I get knocked down, but I get up again

You are never gonna keep me down

Well the street outside of the Grafton

Is the baddest part of Town

And if you're a bouncer there

You better just beware

or Anny will smack you down

Now Anny more than trouble

He stands about six foot six

All the Grafton ladies he calls them slappers

And he calls the bouncers pricks

And it's bad, bad Anny Road

Baddest man in West Derby Road

Badder than Weinstein (Harv)

Meaner than One Punch Jarv

Fair bit of piss taking going on. That’s Ok I can take it.

Maybe it’s my age but every Saturday night deciding if you went into town on the piss a fight was part of the agenda.

I've heard similar from people in their late 40s and 50s basically saying that a night out would mean either getting into a fight, talking your way our of a fight or intervening in the fight of someone you were out with.

I haven't seen town passed 10pm for a good few years now.  Too many knobheads beaked up after a kick off.

Had my fair share of scraps when I was younger (49 now ) never found it that bad. Supposed it depended who and where you drank, my uncle who is 62 was into going out fighting in his youth, his whole footy team would go mob handed. Their haunt was the Oak on Muirhead Avenue, their enemies were lads from The Hermitage on Queens Drive Walton. This was the 70's. I had a very similar situation to Anny's in 87 in town, I obviously lacked the base Kung Fu skills to cope.
