  • Merseyside Police have confirmed that they are responding to reports of a “large scale disturbance” in Liverpool city centre.
  • Police cordons have been set up in Hanover Street and Wood Street.
  • At one stage, there were around 20 police vehicles at the scene, together with ambulances and police dogs
  • We’ve had unconfirmed reports that around 30 to 40 people may have been involved in the disturbance.

Don't want to speculate, but I wonder if it's connected to a certain sporting event tomorrow.

This is allegedly footage of it.

36 seconds in. Near the wall. Bouncer literally piledrives someone's head into the pavement.

Lucky if not dead, or cabbaged/wheelchair job, at best.

Speaking of kick-offs, there was some Peppa Pig inspired violence at the Hamley's Toy Parade.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/mum-punched-floor-woman-trying-11569068#ICID=sharebar_twitter

A mum was punched to the floor by another woman trying to see Peppa Pig as Hamleys' Christmas Toy Parade descended into chaos...

...A meet-and-greet with children's character Peppa Pig was scrapped at the last minute amid fears youngsters in the 800,000-strong crowd risked being crushed...

...Richard Cook, 35, from Ruislip, West London, took his three-year-old daughter, and said: "It was absolute chaos - there were people falling over, kids were being crushed against fencing.

"Things began getting heated and parents started pushing and shoving. A fight broke out because people were getting frustrated - it’s like mob mentality."

Quite.

I had a few mates who I went to school with and then used to train with who were bouncers.

We did virtually the same workout and I was 11-12 stone back then. These lads went from that to about 16-17 stone in 6 months and were covered in steroid ache.

Their personalities changed and they were aggressive shithouses. Only start on someone when they were mob handed. Thought they were gangsters.

Not all lads on the door are like that I know but these got sucked right into it. Violence, Steds and coke.

We parted ways not long after.

"10 men, 8 of them from Germany, arrested after a mass brawl in Liverpool city centre late last night.  Fighting broke out between door staff and members of the public in Concert Square . A man suffered a head injury."

That might be the German christmas market lot you know.

Guest Pistonbroke

Apprently, Eintracht Frankfurt fans and Atalanta Ultras have a longstanding friendship.

Quite a lot of Italians live in Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Stuttgart.
