Klavan is way out of his depth at this level. It's not through a lack of effort, but lack of ability. We need to get at least two centrebacks in before the start of next season.

This. Surprised to see the number of people saying he’s doing ok/well once he delivers a game without glaring mistakes. He simply isn’t at the required level. Quite far off in fact.

I thought we where the much better side their goal was pure fucking fluke.

I find it fucking bonkers that we never brought mane and firminho on early give them something to worry about it just seemed the most fucking obvious thing in the world when Chelsea had to chase the game, why play into their hands. I love klopp but his and snapes in game management winds me up.

I'm still pissed.

Why am I so raging? They aren't even that good. In fact they are shit. We need to be beating shit teams like this when we have the chance. We nullified their only dangerous player and yet they still drew with us.

Don't rage over football mate. There are more important things in life. Chill.

I was glad when Gini came on. We'd been getting overrun in midfield, meaning that Sturridge was redundant and Coutinho was too deep. I thought the substitution might have changed things.

It didn't, obviously, but I think the idea was sound.

I hear what you are saying mate. But I just don't think Gini has that in his arsenal.

I thought he was actually really good yesterday. Especially considering he was up against players that could jog past him in a foot race.

He made some good tactical fouls, sniffed out danger early on several occasions, and bullied forwards off the ball.

We had a few six yard box scrabbles but I think they're to be expected.

Our defence was considerably better than our midfield yesterday.

My impressions from last night.

* I had an amazing spice bag with curry sauce.

* Chamberlain was excellent bar not tracking alonso back and allowing him a free volley over the bar

* Henderson lost all discipline in the second half. There was a clear few minutes where the midfield was set up as milner and gini behind henderson who was obviously meant to sit on Fabregas but didn't

* Sturridge didnt have the pace for this game.

*Coutinho was generally poor bar a wonder pass for salah that chelsea just cleared.

*Salah has so much more to his game than just pace

*Hazard is the best player in the league.
