Still seems like this should be a hotter topic than the casting couch. An MD admits to abusing underage girls trying to get on the Olympic team (gets sentenced to 200 years in prison) - and the entire infrastructure of the government sponsored entity resigns in disgrace and it is a post or two but Harvey Weinstein taking blowies off Hollywood wanna bes was 50+ pages. Outrage over?

That US gymnastics abuse will bring down loads of people- the president of the university he 'practiced' at resigned, other enablers and associates as well.

 

Penn State was bad but the stuff he did was horrific.

Yeah that's crazy. That guy is a classic psychopath. He reportedly gained gymnasts' trust over years by "protecting" them from coaches who pushed them hard and by pretending to care about them and being real buddy-buddy with them.

 

Really scary behaviour and I'm willing to bet that most abusers far more resemble that profile than the overt drug fueled caricatures like Weinstein.
