Mane's injury has reduced my expectations to a level I didn't think existed (I thought they'd bum us rigid anyway).

So, I'm no longer particularly nervous or dreading the game.

Well, until about an hour or so before kick off. Whereupon I will completely forget that we're shite, and misplaced hope will set in.

Just to maybe give you a bit of hope with Mane out, we beat these cunts in 2009 after a run of four straight defeats .

And a team that had Gerrard and a back four of Carra , Insua, G.Johnson and Agger a centre midfield pairing of Lucas and Mascherano and a bench consisting of Voronin, Degen , Cavalieri and Searing, oh and they were also on their way to winning the league that season.

This Utd side isn't as good as that one and we are far far better than that side,so lets stop worrying about them we have enough to cause these major problems so come on you Mighty Reds....

We had Carragher and Agger as our centre back partnership, a rock solid central midfield partnership, and Steven Gerrard playing...

Sorry meant to say Gerrard wasn't playing in that game he was injured that's what made it a great win,

Ahh I see.

Two really contrasting sides. One I often wouldn't back to score if they played all weekend, but at least had the capability of managing periods of the game and looking solid. The other capable of scoring five, but needing them as well.
