PS4 question

Off the top of my head, while games are region free, you need to be careful with any DLC that you wish to purchase for said games. DLC is country locked, and can only be redeemed/unlocked using that countries account/store.

If you've got a US address & bank details, then you can set up a US & UK/EU PSN account on the machine so that you can purchase/redeem DLC from the US PSN store.

Here's a thread on the PlayStation EU forum that discusses aspects of using a PS4 bought in the US, here in the UK.

If you're on Twitter, drop @AskPS_UK and/or @AskPlayStation a line. Both of these accounts should be able to give you a definitive answer to your query.

The only thing I can say for certain, is that you'll need a new power cable, changing from the 2 pin plug to the 3 pin plug.

Thanks for the info.

The system is for my old man, he should still be able to play online call of duty and Nazi zombies though?

That's all he needs it for. I doubt he would ever need to pay for DLC. He used to have a PS3 thats busted so i thought id get him the new system and game. Cheers again.

I don't see why not. If it's just the base game, then I don't believe you'd have any issues.

I can drop the support teams a tweet, if you're not on Twitter, just to double check?
