Stallone has four great films, the first two Rocky and the first two Rambo. Arnie has a multitude of films that are well above average for the genre but not quite great. So it's Sly for me

Rambo 2 is an abomination of a film. First Blood is genius.

First Blood, whilst a solid action film, still had Rambo as a human being (albeit one highly trained in killing) dealing with his inner demons and the horrors of war. In Rambo 2 he was just a one dimensional killing machine, virtually a caricature.

Terminator and Terminator 2 vs Rocky’s 1,2,3 and 4.

I’d have T2 ahead of all but Rocky 4 and for that reason Sly pips it for me. I absolutely love the Rocky films, I actually feel like I know the characters personally. No offence to Arnie though. I mean look at the fucking huge metal bastard.
