I can see that you are well into this Moof, some great choices lads.

Oh, aye. I love listening to studio recordings, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing like watching the greats ply their craft in a live setting. Gets me going like nothing else, mate

I remember reading in Slash's autobiography he said about how he decided what albums to steal.

Steal the best of amd a live album. If the live album was crap dont bother stealing the rest as they are shite

Good advice

The story of 'the prez' Lester Young and Lady Days 'billie holliday ' musical relationship during the 50s for anyone interested

Both were troubled souls but Young was one hell of a sax player and Holliday was one hell of a singer.

I love P.J. but saw her at Glastonbury and Manchester, and was underwhelmed!

But, she only really played the latest stuff. This was what I wanted to see!

I love her, mate.

The new stuff is an acquired taste and i can see how it may not be to everyones taste - but that is her isn't it, does what she wants and changes constantly...easily my favourite artist.

No I love her new stuff, and it was great live but she never did anything form Stories - which was a bit disappointing.
