What VPN provider do you use, if any? How is your experience with them? What kind of a deal do you get? How much does it cost? Etc.

 

I'm looking to use a VPN in Kodi and across all the connections I can (mobile, laptop, tablets etc) so it would need to be fairly quick and unlimited data. Can I just set one up at the router level itself?

I'm using Speedify now because I got it really cheap. Have previously used IPVanish and Witopia. All of them are alright, wouldn't really say any are outstandingly better than another. I've always just gone for the cheapest as long as it seems to get OK reviews. More important for me that it works with iplayer and 4OD really.

I used to use this but some bookie accounts picked up on the ip addresses. I got myself a dongle and Virgin sim for helping other bookie accounts. A friend uses Windscribe chrome attachment for downloading stuff from the web.

IPVanish doesn't seem to work anymore. Whenever I try and use it, I cannot connect to the internet. It's getting binned. I'll look at that one instead.

Yes I installed a new version and first of all it didn't even start as an application then once it did run I tried connecting to the internet through it and every single website failed to load.

 

Seems a bit pointless having a piece of software designed to protect your online identity which stops you even logging in. Or perhaps that was the new feature? "Worried your online activity might be being snooped on? Stop fucking using the internet then you fucking cunt!"

 

I think I'll uninstall it.

I thought IPVanish was alright myself apart from when it didn't work because it needed updating. Decent amount of servers in various countries and fast enough for what I wanted.

 

Having said that, I was getting it for free with Eweka usenet and haven't paid for it since they stopped giving me it. Speedify seems just as good to be honest (and easier) and cost me about 7 euros for a year out of a Humble Bundle.

Yes I googled that but I need to check the payment that was made as it was listed as $79 for two years and for some reason a screen popped up saying I was paying just over $280. It might have been an irrelevant screen shot but it was slightly concerning as it popped up after pressing buy.
