Starts Saturday. Anyone except Ebdon and Murphy. Hopefully Ronnie or Trump (not Donald)

Ebdon lucky to get through the qualifiers. Beat Michael holt earlier on the black in the deciding frame.

I want Higgins to win, if not then Marco Fu. He has been is very good form this year , best he has ever played.

I'm not entirely sure what happened in that Ebdon game as I was only watching the live scoring but Holt was on a break and fouled on the last blue, he must have made a monumental fuck up.

Looks very open to me this year. Selby is the favourite in my opinion, nor sure why some bookies have Trump shorter. Be surprised if Ronnie wins it. I have loads of bets on. Robertson and Ding at 12, Hawkins at 33,Kyren Wilson at 50, McGill at 80, Jamie Jones at 250 (though he's still touch and go to qualify)

Ding should be there or thereabouts. Robertson has gone a bit backwards IMO.

Ebdon playing on requiring four snookers. He's going to nick the frame the lightbulb-headed cunt.

He has always been that kind of player but in a world championships when he knows he has it in him to pull one out then who can blame him? its within the rules. I wouldn't personally but then again i'd demand 2 shots straight and no ref.

Guest Pistonbroke

Yeah, looks like he'll be 4-5 down going into tomorrow's session. The break in play will no doubt help him regain his composure, couldn't have come at a worse time for McLeod.
