I imagine that both Hyypia and Litmanen were talented footballers in their youth and their respective coaches tried them out in various positions before genetics dictated more suitable positions when they became young professionals. This is a very common thing used pretty often with young players but is still not done enough with British kids. It happens of course but British players are often pigeon holed into positions at a young age by clueless coaches and it can destroy any chances of them becoming very good players.

Hence the use of the word 'some.' There are always exceptions to the rule.

It also seems Klopp is more open to changing positions of the younger lads who come through the ranks and using them in different positions in our first team.

Fucking Rodgers and the owl rarely played anyone in the same role in successive matches.
