Xbox one games

There's probably a thread like this here already, but anyway...

 

As a middle aged man, I have bought an Xbox one and decided to play games.

 

I got FIFA with it, which is fine, and was also given Gears of War 4. I find Gears of War to al be a bit hectic. Just loads of shooting and getting shot. I've only get about 10 mins into it and then get killed and lose interest. So are there slower games out there that'd be more to my suiting? Action but also slower, thinking parts?

 

Also, I had a PS years ago and hand Crash Bandicoot which was brilliant. Anything like that?

 

Any other driving or sport game recommendations gratefully accepted also.

Madden is a must if you like sports games.

Look at EA access about £5 month snd loads of download games if you dont mind playing last years PGA etc. Also all the Mass Effect xbox 360 games on there

Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 6 will cover the driving games. Absolutely top drawer, especially Horizon 3. Best arcade style racer I've played.

Halo Wars 2 AND XCOM2 can be could be worth a look for slower style games.

What's the new Tomb Raider like?

If you like the first Tomb Raider then you will most likely enjoy it, although it was very similar with a few game play tweaks. If you haven't played the first one I would recommend that one more as there are difficult periods in the new Tomb Raider where if you find Gears of War 4 difficult, you may find the new Tomb Raider gives you plenty of ass-kicks also.

You make a move and then the computer makes a move, think of it like the rules of chess. Both cant move at the same time.

If you're really into racing/driving games a wheel and pedal set will make a world of difference.

 

After using a gamepad since forza motorsport 2 came out we've just bought the Logitech G920 wheel and pedal set. It really is good and its brought a whole new lease of life to our racing games.

Looking forward to Forza 7 and PCars 2 later this year.

 

Like me you'll probably find the driving games more suited, l find the shooters to hectic these days.

Here is a report on the 25 Top games on XBOX One. Not all will agree with the selection but you may get some ideas from the list and you may pick up some good ones at a cheap price too.
