Gone with Elite and Lifetime Fan. 

 

Babb's Burst Nad has a brilliant front 3 but lets himself down with that midfield and lack of width. Is that Nobby Solano at RB by the way?

 

Megadrive Man has a very well balanced side and them front 2 together would be a nightmare but it just lacks that STAR player in the front 6. Best CB available though in Dessaily. 

 

El Dangerous has a good spread of players but Pahars and Bowyer let you down in my opinion. Ace fullbacks though. 

 

Elite's side the best in the group. Good balance and a few star players. Vassel was shit though. 

 

Lifey has the best keeper available, a great CB pairing, Deschamps is a top pick, as is Waddle and you just know that even though they weren't 'great' players, Ndlovu and Wanchope aren causing problems.

Hard as usual. All of these teams could have done with a bit of Aljosa Asanovic.

 

El D - good balanced side, there must have been someone better than Alan Kimble though surely?

 

Elite - again, good side, though Matt Elliott was a centre back.

 

LF - again, good side, though I think it would have looked better with McCall as part of a midfield 3 and Ndlovu left of a front three.

 

MM - another good side but centre mid a bit weak.

 

BBN - this is the best side here IMO. Popescu dropping in allowing the full backs to push on, great flair in attack.

 

So, Babbs and someone else.

Some nice picks in these lineups, but a couple of the formations could do with some slight tweaking for me.

 

As Dim mentioned, Col's side would look much better in a 4-3-3. McCall in the centre of the park rather than out on the left wing, with Ndlovu to the left of the attacking trio.

 

I'd also have gone for a 3-4-2-1 with the side BBN has picked. I always seen Gica Popescu as a sweeper behind 2 centre halves, rather than as an anchor man just in front of them, though he was certainly more than capable of playing that role.

 

The side I prefer over the others is Megadrive Man's. Nicely balanced all round, and I don't mind the central midfield pairing, they compliment each other quite well, with Lomas the more defensive of the 2, while Muzzy gives the side a bit of drive through the middle.

 

I've gone with BBN & Megadrive Man as my votes in this group.
