I always remember a fella with one of those burger cart things at the game who was trying to push it up a kerb and all his barms and some of the burgers fell out of the thing into the road....dirty get picked them up and i watched as he then put the burgers in to cook and served them.

Never again for me after that.

My mate got an eggburger from a hole in the wall hatch sort of place that used to be on Hardman Street. Due to the levels of grease, the egg escaped in the taxi and after chasing it around the taxi floor he slapped it back in the burger and ate it. I was convinced he was going to die.

One of the extractor fans being lifted into place in one of the ventilation shafts for the Birkenhead tunnel.

And as it is today.  The original fans are still in use, not least because they're too fucking big to get out of the building.  Fortunately, they were built to last.

If you get a chance, I'd definitely recommend a Mersey Tunnel Tour.

McDermott, Hansen and Souness having a pint in the Albert

Souness in a pristine white jumper and a fresh perm. I still wouldn't mess with him.
