Full package mate, with multiroom. We left and they offered us 60% off Sky+ to come back within a month or 35% off if we upgraded to Sky Q.

We moved house and got Virgin free for 3 months but hate it already. We're not paying anything for the boxes, installation or moving house so full package is £60 a month for 12 months.

That's a boss deal.

I spoke to them yesterday and their offers were awful.  My bill would remain the same (£80 p/m); which is for multi-room and sports, no movies.  But, I would have to pay £99 for the 2tb box and £99 for the mini-box.  I am out of contract so may say I'm leaving and see what offers they throw at me as I wasn't prepared to pay them prices.

I'd rather pay fuck all for telly (i'm aware it's doable) but I like the convenience of Sky and I can afford it so...

I've done card sharing before, I use Kodi for certain things but there's a lot to be said for having a stable package for general viewing, especially now that I have a 4k telly.

Sky pretty much became redundant for me when I lost interest in Premier League football. I'm not interested in most modern films, so I rarely used the movie channels. I wouldn't mind watching the odd programme on Sky Atlantic, such as Boardwalk Empire and Westworld, but going without is no great hardship.

It all depends on circumstances mate, we're all different.
