Origi wasn't sure of the rule, so he tamely hit it to the keeper, practically scuffing the ball by striking it near his ankle.

TAA defended well

Woodburn took on the Coutinho role when he went off and did well

Wilson looks assured and confident, unlucky to not get a spwany goal 

Karius looked better, one iffy punch in the 2nd half aside

Gomez another 90 minutes

Klopp presented with a giant pastie

No-one was injured

 

Cons:

 

Sturridge bossed by Division 4 defenders

Stewart exposed for what he is, a band average midfielder

Origi very poor epitomised with that abysmal penalty.  Hasn't seemingly recovered from his injury last year.  I know he had a run of goals recently but he has been poor this season IMO

to be fair, they were better without him yesterday.  But that penalty miss was almost a sackable offence.  Origi is having some sort of meltdown I think.  Still better than Sturridge though, rather depressingly.

Origi's missed penalty was the easiest thing to predict on the night, his eyes practically screamed "Fuck, it's me, I hope I score". It's a bit disconcerting that beyond Milner we have no one who looks confident taking them.
