The problem with modern professional referees is their lack of accountability to anybody but each other,same as the likes of the police force. Without independent input there can be no critical thinking or changing of their ways. Like I keep saying though,Mike Riley as head of referees? The worst top level ref I have ever seen in charge of the 'elite' group of English referees is an absolute farce.
