I used to have a VU+ and got a good couple of years out of just paying £120 for a year in a private share.

 

It was sound, apart from intermittent glitching. Anyone getting these boxes needs to be aware of glitching.

 

I binned it off after the HD channels became encrypted. Proper HD snob me.

I paid £35 for a firestick loaded kodi for free and pay £25 for 6 months of all live sports events.

i use a kodi box and black devils lounge instead of sportsmania. they are good too , never used sportsmania but here its good too

Any recommendations for a 4k uhd box with all the HD stuff ? No point in buying otherwise, just continue to use my freebies and kodi.

They aren't able to get Sky HD channels as they are encrypted but you can get BT HD not sure about UHD.

Still haven't bought one but now got the bank to invest in something decent. I've heard of the Blade Box which has all the channels and something like Kodi with all the movies and box sets. Any advances?

Yep, got the mag254, blade box as it's more commonly known. Brilliant piece of kit.
