Having held out for a while, I'm thinking of getting one of those Walkman things, so that I can listen to music on the move. I might even push the boat out and get a carry case for my tapes.

I'm not sure which one to go for though. I'm thinking Sony, Phillips Sport (I think the yellow/grey colour combo looks mega) , or maybe a Saisho from Dixons.

You can get a perfectly decent Hinari from Rumbelows

Rumbelows had closed before I got there, so I called in at the newsagents on the way home and got a Terry's Pyramint, a bar of Nestle Secret and a packet of Golden Wonder Bovril flavour crisps. They had a box of cheap Commodore 64 games on the counter, so I got Mission Impossible for 99p. Fingers crossed that's it decent.

Have you had a look n this weeks's Exchange and Mart, mate?  I'm sure I saw a 'Personal Stereo' section in there when I was browsing it in WH Smiths last Saturday morning.
