Walkman advice, please

Having held out for a while, I'm thinking of getting one of those Walkman things, so that I can listen to music on the move. I might even push the boat out and get a carry case for my tapes.

 

I'm not sure which one to go for though. I'm thinking Sony, Phillips Sport (I think the yellow/grey colour combo looks mega) , or maybe a Saisho from Dixons.

Walkman was a Sony brand name, so technically you can't get one from another manufacturer. Also, Sony continue to use the branding today, applying it to their MP3 and MP4 players, so it's not an outdated term.

Rumbelows had closed before I got there, so I called in at the newsagents on the way home and got a Terry's Pyramint, a bar of Nestle Secret and a packet of Golden Wonder Bovril flavour crisps. They had a box of cheap Commodore 64 games on the counter, so I got Mission Impossible for 99p. Fingers crossed that's it decent.
