Thread is inspired by something I watched on the History Channel last night called Hunting Hitler. The programme itself was garb American shite and I'd recommend avoiding it but it is a theory that's always intrigued me. It is entirely feasible that he fucked off to South America. What says the GF? Just another wacko conspiracy theory or did Hitler manage to get away and live out his days without being caught?

No, as far as I'm aware they DNA tested what they believed was Hitler's skull and it turned out that it belonged to a woman.

There is of course a chance he escaped to South America. But as was said before, he wasn't well by the end of the war. He almost certainly had Parkinsons and he was addicted to amphetamines. That, amongst many other rumoured illnesses like syphilis and heart issues, probably mean such travel and pressure of capture would have killed him in a few years anyway.

 

There are many nonsense conspiracies in this world, but that's one that shouldn't be rejected out of hand.
