Klopp's Tactics

We need better players in certain positions. Everything else is just jibber jabber.

Klopp has and continues to over achieve with the squad at his disposal and spending power.

Agree but also think he could've tried swapping Mane and Salah for a bit. Might not have made a difference but Salah was getting completely crowded out on the right

Mane should have been hooked at half time. His lack of concentration in games especially this one is starting to hack me off. How he stayed on all game I do not know.

Another thing we need to learn in games like this is to try and gain snidey free kicks in and around the penalty box. The amount of times the mancs we’re coming away with the ball with ease from another of our attack’s while our players were stood looking gormless was burning my head out. Get Didi Hamman into train them up on the art of tumbling over.

As if Pawson would have given us anything... I quite like that we try to win fairly withoit resorting to Mourinho-style tactics. A bit of tactical nouse is Ok. I thought Suarez crossed the line a few times, but having the entire team acting like Mourinho does is a huge issue for me.

Problem is, refs are falling for the theatrics of Mourinho's and others teams, and doing nothing to keep the game flowing. As sweet as Spurs going out of the CL, it's detrimental to the football most of us want to see when teams aren't getting punished for shit like Rashford/Valencia/de Gea did on Saturday and the Juve players on Tuesday. I'd guess the ball wasn't in play for more than 1/3 of the game after Juve got their lead, with similar numners after our goal on Saturday.

I know we've exploited the rules during our most successful years, but refuse to believe it was as bad as some of the teams now.

This in a nutshell. Lots of people thinking if we were throwing ourselves to the ground the ref is going to give us free kicks and pens. How many times have we seen clear and obvious fouls and penalty claims waved away by Webb Mason Atkinson and Friend when we have been playing mickey mouse teams never mind United on their own turf.

Klopp on the Premier League Show tonight with a behind the scenes look at training and an interview with Jurgen,..

I hope this doesn't go the same way as that time he was on MNF on Sky when he talked about his tactics and then I think we went a bit shit following it.

It wasn’t like that. I liked the story he told about Germans turning up bang on time for his house party but the English going drinking first and turning up ‘pissed’!!

Did I mishear?

I thought he said welcome home close to the beginning.

Did he get her mixed up with Kelly Cates?

Maybe he thought he recognised her from the Thomas Cook office ?

She seems a decent sort does Gabby. Saw an article once where she said that her & her husband had played the game ' Who would you shag if you could pick one & get away with it ' and she had picked some huge All-Black forward. Then when she was at a Rugby World Cup she ends up in the lift on her own with this guy & tells him all about it & puts him on the phone to Kenny Logan who is back in the UK and then turns her phone off for an hour.

United's Ball Boys have more game management nouse than any of our players!

Game management has definitely improved this season.  You can see how our players are so much more prepared to take a period of composed possession - while still fighting like bastards to win the ball back if they lose it - when we're defending a second half lead.

In the first half of the season, we dropped 12 points from winning positions.  In the 12 league games to date  of the second half of the season, we've only dropped two points from winning positions.
