so what has gone on there? I don't understand it. i know o'neill didn't pull up any trees at forest (sorry), but he seemed to be doing ok - surely the point of appointing him when they did was to give him some time with the squad and be ready to make a big move forward this season?

By all accounts the players hated him and were threatening to down tools.

He was probably asking the cunts to work hard!

And why has it taken all summer to get here? I assume they've been in training for a bit as they played a friendly today.

I saw this yesterday. Sounds like the squad is packed full of knobheads.

Well, there’s your problem, right there. If you accommodate this shit then they’re going to undermine whoever you bring in.

In January, Forest signed a midfielder by the rather optimistic name of Pelé on loan from Monaco. Yet O’Neill cut that short when the player, nursing an injury, missed an appointment with the club’s doctor. One first-team player was dropped after reporting so late he missed the team coach. Another key performer – a player who also fell out with Karanka – was too loose-lipped on holiday and criticised O’Neill so strongly that it ended up on a supporter’s Facebook account and got back to the club.

It's incredible just how much sway players have at that level. And when there's clearly so many cunts, you have to question how any manager ever has a chance - it's just cheaper to sack the manager, even if it is the wrong choice. Give a strong man 3 years and stick with him while you slowly clear the squad and bring in players of character instead of fucking spoilt babies.

I cannot abide reading about players complain about pre-season gruelling runs. Isn't that what pre-season is about? You certainly hear about our squad being run into the ground, in fact it was talked last season we kept that pre-season stuff up until the 2nd international break. If it's good enough for one of the best teams in the world, why would it be not for a team out of the top flight for 20 years.

It seems forest are to continue being shite though and if the supporters have given O'Neill so little time, well they get what they deserve anyway, the fucking scab cunts.

Nottingham Forest just have a bad environment with no accountability. They haven't just been shite for decades because they keep signing bad apples, they're a mess from top to bottom.

Players who go there realize they can do what they want but it's got little to do with them. Employees who work for shit show organizations will take short cuts if they know they can get away with it but it doesn't mean they're all inherently bad employees who would take the piss at a place like Google. Same thing here and it's like that at many clubs as well.

Clough was Forests 15th manager since their formation Lamouchi is number 48, and thats taking into account three periods in charge for Gary Brazil and 2 for Stuart Pearce. No manager has lasted more than two and a half years since Clough. So from 15 managers in the first 4 years to 33 managers in the last 25 . Football really did jump the shark in 1992.

Didn’t he try to fuck over Kenny?

Sure I remember reading that in Brian Reade’s book.

I remember him being part of the reason we missed out on signing the likes of Pallister and Mabbutt when Kenny was trying to rebuild seeing how we were soon going to be overtaken by our rivals. Kenny was forced to buy lesser quality players and the rest is history. 29 years and counting.

He's only mid 30's. Although he might have doctored his birth certificate.
