Some big hurdles to get over, not least the death of Frank Silva (Bob), but hopefully if David Lynch doesn't decide to bail, like he did first time around,it could be great.

It was absolutely seminal - I don't think HBO could have done what they have done in the last 15  years without it.

 

On the other hand, it has not aged well - it looks and feels dated now, but only because a lot of the techniques it used have become standard and then clichéd.

Only nine episodes with Lynch directing all of them. Hopefully that means there's no filler, like James and his stupid fucking guitar.

I fucking loved Twin Peaks. Cannot wait for this Lynch fueled reboot, hopefully he will right some of the heinous wrongs perpetrated in his absence in series 2, and If I ever come across Windham fucking Earl I will boot him all across the length and breadth of the fucking Black Lodge.

I love Twin Peaks but there was such a drop in quality in the second half of season 2. Everything before that is some of my all time favourite TV. I'm still excited but 2016 seems so long away.

To be honest, I reckon it's going to be a whole new set of characters. Like 20 odd years later as in real life. Can't see any of the old cast reappear, except for cameos. 

 

 

Maybe it could then be case of the "spirits" still hanging around the place, something they allude to in the original series.

That makes sense, what a shame. I seem to recall my mate, who is a big Lynch fan, saying that he invited people to come direct episodes when he lost interest and that Lynch was big on cocaine around that time. 

 

I wonder if they'll hire some new actors to go along with the original cast. Sort of like Twin Peaks 90120. I'd just like to see more David Lynch stuff on TV.

I saw Madchen Amick at Frightfest a couple of years back, she was promoting some piece of shit TV show. She looked great, exactly how you'd expect Shelley to age.

 

Lara Flynn Boyle has just fucked herself up through surgery, can't see her being back.
