Wanted. Three seasons on Netflix, watched two so far and give it a solid 7/10.

Aussie crime series about to woman who as strangers to each other get embroiled in a couple of murders and end up on the run.

Formulatic but quite enjoyable, the two main characters are very good, the younger one is fit and the elder (50ish) you can tell used to be, I'd have no hesitation in considering both for hand holding in public.

Two episodes into Narcos Mexico and I'm not really getting in to it. It's a pale shadow of the first 3 series at the moment. Can only hope it gets better.

Just finished it and whilst it was good, it's not a patch on the first 3.

I didn't feel like the actor playing Felix was menacing enough to be in charge of the cartel and whilst it picked up towards the end, didn't really say what happened to the main characters (the ones still allive at the end anyway) so had to resort to Google to see what happened to them. I suppose they needed to have some material for the second season.

Thought Don Nero was great. Kiki's wife and Isabella were lovely to watch as well.

I've been watching one called travelers. Not sure if I mentioned it a while back when the last series was out.

Basically the future is a shit hole, so they figure out a way of sending peoples consciousness back to the 21st century into the bodies of people who were on record as about to die. So they technically aren't taking a life when they do it.

They follow the orders of a benevolent quantum super computer that knows how to fix everything by sending people back to complete missions, like stopping a nuclear bomb or an asteroid hitting earth and wiping everyone out. Obviously this sometimes has effects on the future which change the potential missions or whatever.

And the computer chooses host bodies based on their historic records, so one ends up being a smackhead unintentionally because it wasn't on his record, and these new travelers also have to pretend they are the host and continue living their life as if nothing has changed.

It's alright for some low budget soft sci-fi.

New series just came out on Netflix.

Is The Terror worth watching? It says horror, but is there anything supernatural, or is it more grounded in reality?

Yeah I’d say so. I enjoyed it as I did the book. It’s not overtly supernatural though there is a supernatural creature in it, being exposed to the elements and tensions between the crew cause as many problems.

It bored me I'm afraid mate, but my mate Paul loved it. Definitely worth a go though.

Mind you, the real Terror in it was surely Greta Scacci. What the fuck.

Do you find the overall dynamic between the 3 lead characters just a little off and unsettling ? I can see some double cross and bloodletting.

Yes. Benicio Del Toro is great at playing these unsettling roles where you know there is something very sinister about him but not sure what.
