I really want to try this tonight but when I start reading about tehcnology I get all anxious and sweaty, I've used computers for years and I'm nowhere near a technophob so I don't know why I'm like that, reading tech speak is like looking at the fucking Matrix, regardless I'll give it a go tonight, before I hit the booze.

Alan managed it fine and he only ever has one hand free.

So I have a basic concept of how this works and some fusion streams up and running.

What do I do now to connect it to my TV? Raspberry pi but what do I need to buy and how do I connect it to the tablet?

For a Hudl all you need is the correct HDMI lead. Any micro HDMI lead should work

I would try something like this before the Tesco one

The Raspberry Pi would be if you had nothing already but wanted XBMC on your TV.

You install it on the Pi itself. It can still sometimes be the cheapest option though and a tablet/phone works great as a remote for it.

This is now a few months old though and what he is using is not what I would use myself now. Istream is much better.

My local computer shop sells them these days.
