Not just that, but I saw yesterday out of the top ten scorers he has the highest amount (71%) of shots on target. 

 

I said a while ago that the whole can't finish thing is nonsense, and compared it to Suarez's early days. Do you remember that? Most on here were banging on about him not being able to hit a barn door.

Sterling being so high is the shocking part.  Then again the top three are City's attack and it's probably down to the tap ins they create.

Just lacking that wee bit of finishing ability to score more goals than most of the teams in the league in his first 15 games at a new club.

It's hugely likely he regresses to the mean and struggles to get as many goals for the rest of the season. Imagine, though, if he keeps up this rate or heaven forbid, betters it. We're looking at someone better than Sturridge and Torres and closer to Suarez.

A front 4 of Salah/Firminho/Mane/Coutinho is more or less comparable to what City produce (similar to ‘13). For that reason, expect Salah to keep the scoring up as long as he gets some rest too. Really looking forward to him & Mane against any big European side cocky enough to play a high line against us.

I was actually referring more to Lacazette. Would be irritating if he started playing his £50m pound striker. I much prefer seeing Iwobi in the team.

Correct. Don't think Mo is, or ever will be, as good as Suarez, but the point about us moaning

over Suarez and his lack of goals is exactly right.

I've said it before, missing chances is not that bad as long as you are still scoring. All players miss chances, I can't be arsed looking up stats but even the likes of Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar miss a shit load.
