I think he'll stay.  He appears to be happy there and the Geordies love him now.  It's a love affair.

There's three of them in that relationship, though. The Mike Ashley factor can't be ignored.

And would he be happy to be in a situation where he's competing to reach sixth or seventh place?

If he finished sixth in his first season back that wouldn't be too shabby.  Yes, I think he and the fans would be happy with that in the short term at least.  A bit of silverwear and they'll replace the Angel of the North.

Do you know what it's like to clean up your own mother's piss? What are you smiling at? What are you grinning at? Do you think it's funny? Do you think I'm funny? Do you think my mother's piss is funny? Well, it's not funny! She's not laughing! She's pissing herself!

Great stuff from Rafa and Newcastle. They'll have that title wrapped up by March, the way things are going.

At the end of the season, he'll be lifting that beautiful old trophy that used to signify another league victory for us.

He's a good man, hope his Newcastle side go from strength to strength at the expense of any team that isn't us.

Uh oh....

Rafa Benitez's long-term future at Newcastle United appears uncertain, with the manager seeking significant reassurances about the club's ambition after a frustrating January transfer window
