Does Rodgers deserve another season.

The proof that fans are being ridiculous is clear for all and can be proved simply, we've had all different kinds of performances so far this season but the ones who want him out are focusing on the bad results.

Why do those two losses prove BR is done but the wins and draw away to arsenal mean or prove nothing?

It's hard not to be influenced when most fans are calling for his head and people in the media are talkin shit,I've nearly given in and agreed a few times myself. The other problem is there are managers available the fans want which is making them ignore any positives and focus on the negatives.

That's my opinion on why there is so much hysteria even though the managers job is not really under threat at this point.Things can turn around quickly though and if we get a few more performances like Villa without the defensive mistakes fans will get back behind the manager.

I think some of the fans rightly or wrongly see it as a continuation of the dreadful end to the season prior, and a lot have paid good money only to be served up tepid performances 'booing at Anfield'

More importantly

Its not about the manager never has been for me, nobody is bigger than the club, its all about Liverpool FC, and right now we're suffering..

Some outstanding work from Russ and Howie there. Proper brightened up my early evening.

By the way, which of you posts as Scorchio on the TIA forums? This made me laugh.

If we win, it's because he's a great manager.

If we lose, it's because he doesn't have the right tools.

If we win with the wrong tools, it's because he's a great coach.

If we don't win the league, it's because he has the wrong tools and has injuries to the right tools.

If he doesn't have the right tools, it's the fault of the transfer committee.

If his own choice of tools turn out to be the wrong tools, then it's the fault of the coaches, and they're replaced.

If the tools are chosen by someone else, then they're the wrong tools and aren't used.

If the tools chosen by someone else have to be used and then appear to be the right tools, then he'll use them until he gets his own wrong tools back, then complain that he doesn't have the right tools.

If we then lose with his own tools, then there's a conspiracy going on.

I agree with you that fans are still thinking about what happened last season and as I said some want those managers that are available.Thats fair enough but instead of saying the manager has to go they should be saying they want the manager to go.

Last season is gone and it makes no sense at all for the owners to give him a new backroom and allow him to spend if they were going to sack him at the first sign of trouble. Its simply not going to happen anytime soon imo, only when cl places are out of our reach or at the end of the season will his position be considered by the owners.

Fans are acting like it's already been decided but that's far from the case, not accusing any on here as a lot have wanted him gone for a while but there is a lot of fans who have been sheep, followed others and have been influenced by the press.Ive seen some admit to this today and as I said I have nearly turned a few times aswell, a few more good performances and wins and those fans will be back behind the manager again, one win already has some seeing sense.

Certainly doesn't apply on here. He seemed to have lost most people on the forum somewhere between the game against the Manc's and the 6-1.

A spectacular start to the season may have won them back but that didn't happen. Instead we've been shite thus the calls for action.

I do agree the owners won't do anything about it though, but that irresponsibility is only going to further anger people.

If fans were influenced by the press they'd still be backing Rodgers.

It's hardly Rafa territory where the media are out for the blood because they wanted a British manager in his job. Now they're trying to keep a British manager in. If Rodgers goes he's going to be replaced by a foreigner in all probability. That leaves a foreign manager at all last season's top 7 plus Everton.

Fans aren't all stupid. They can see the fella's full of shit and are sick of his bullshit. A man who's never actually won anything in football (other than promotion needing the play offs) yet has the ego and arrogance of Alex Ferguson and Mourinho.

I actually thinks he's very insecure . Hence his increasingly paranoid outbursts
