Bluray old movies are way too quiet.
Anyone else get this problem with really old movies.

Not found it myself. In fact, some of the best transfers I've seen have been old movies.

Ah. Who'd have thought I'd find a Simon thread title confusing?

The Star trek box set all the first once up to Piquard are very low in volume. The rest are fine.

Seriously? Yes you do if your TV is too low, if you don't want to hear it then you don't have to. This is a really shit and pointless thread.

Re: Bluray old movies are way too quiet.
No its not im saying new films are normal volume but old ones arte very low what is pointless about that i was fucking asking if anyone else has found that problem. I have to turn it almost 3 quarters full volume to hear it the blu ray experience is about the sound and picture so i think it does matter. And you need too stop trying to be a smart arse with me it dont suite you mate.

Simon, you need to stop acting so stupid because you're not but the way you act makes people think you are. If highering the volume up on the TV pisses you off so much then i think you need to go and see someone about it.

Re: Bluray old movies are way too quiet.
The simple answer is that they were probably produced without dolby digital or whatever, or your TV is shit or your bluray player is shit.

What does you TV go up Simon? If it goes up to 10, get one that goes up to 11, so it will be one louder.
