My mate had one of the commodore consols, I can remember which one it was now. Probably the CD32 if I remember correctly. I only ever remember playing some pirate explorer game or other and golf. Twas pretty decent for its day, but uptake and lack of software development was very poor, the then PS1 twatted it, big time.

True story, I found a nintendo magazine from 94 last year in my loft, I had filled in the questionnaire superbly. One question said "within reason, what would you like to see attached to the front of the magazine ? " my answer: A SNES.

It would probably make the Megadrive worse. 32X, I'd forgotten about that, even worse than the Mega CD.

There was an Indiana Jones comp in Commodore User once. You had to name the new Indy film, the winning entry was "Indiana Jones and the Fornicating Baboon." I didn't know what fornicating meant and couldn't work out why my brilliant "Indiana Jones and the Raid of Zzap Towers" was overlooked.

Didn't the playstation start life as a Mega CD-style add-on to the SNES? But Nintendo saw how shit Sega's efforts were and pulled the plug but Sony said 'fuck you, we'll make our own!"? Gotta love Sony.
