FM 2008 Has this happened to you?

I've started season 2011-12.
Got quality throughout my side.
Silva set me back 36M
Whereas Dos santos and Bojan didn't cost a bean!
Anyway, after much berating the board finally agreed to extend the stadium by 15000+ seats, in addition they were to upgrade the training facilities and youth academy
I'm rubbing my habds with glee at the additonal cash the bigger stadium would bring in and then the glitches kick in.
First of all I'm promised some 40M for transfers.
It doesn't show up.
Then the stadium opens with its 75000 capacity and then when I see the attendance for the games its still at 58-59000. I go to information and the capacity has reverted back to just over 61000.
What gives?

I've not uploaded any patches as I was going to do this when I started a new game.
Any ideas?

Must be as it quotes the chirman as being Gilett (no both of them) and that he loves the club and doesn't want to leave, ever.
I'm not surprised, he's fucked off with my transfer budget and 15000 seats!
I'm serious people, this has actually happened. Promised me money and got nothing, promised a bigger stadium which gets built but then disappears.
Has got to be a bug. Then when I asked for tranfer funds (the money that I should've had) they said my constant appeals to the board were becoming annoying and that they would prefer I stuck to training the players rather than being in the boardroom. I'll screen dump the message and post it on here. The weird thing is that the game I have on is straight from the shop, no patches on it, the pc its on is not even connected to the internet!
