The perennial "which broadband?" question.
What's floating your boat lately? Fell massively out with Sky months ago and I hate paying them money anyway. I'm currently with BT but wireless connection keeps dropping out and the only way to resolve, apparently, it is to call them. Three times in four weeks now, takes nearly an hour to sort it. I'm gonna tell them to ram their silly 18 month contract and go elsewhere, cheaper and better hopefully.
Any thoughts that are not BT, Sky or TalkTalk?

Re: The perennial "which broadband?" question.
I used to hop between ISP's all the while but I have been with my current one for over a year which is some going for me. I would highly recommend them... Entanet is the wholesale provider and any of their resellers are very good.
I use UKFSN. The only downer is their shit website UK Free Software Network which may put people off. Another reseller of Entanet I have experience of is ADSL24 ADSL24 Broadband - Home
£20 per month and 30gb peak and 300gb offpeak suits me very nicely.

Re: The perennial "which broadband?" question.
I've had about 3/4 over the last few years.
Plus.net which were pretty darn good, and I probably shouldn't have left
Talk Talk which were gash
Now back with BT and no complaints really.

I was with Plusnet before I moved to Entanet and they used to be excellent but I found them dip a lot. I still use them at work on some sites and even though it is a business package I notice a slow down from about 4pm.

We recently changed from BT to TalkTalk and it is much quicker and 4 times cheaper.

Re: The perennial "which broadband?" question.
I used to have Virgin broadband which was some serious speedage. Never once had any downtime too. On the neg side I had to have their shitty TV service as well.
I now have BT which kind of sucks balls.

You will regret it.
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you will regret it.

Re: The perennial "which broadband?" question.
I've been meaning to change for months. I'm currently with BT and always have been since I have had BB, but I can't bring myself to change as I've never had any long terms problems with the and when I have, I have found their Customer Service to be helpful.
I dread changing and it all and it being rosy for a couple of months then shit.

Scum of the earth, that lot mate. God help you if you ever get any problems. Quite possibly the worst ever customer service I have ever come across.

What kind of slow down are we talking here? Do pages hang or is it just slightly slower than top speed? And what is top speed?
Cheers.

Re: The perennial "which broadband?" question.
I've been with ADSL24 for over a year now (after a nightmare time with Tiscali) and the service has been excellent.
I have the Home 30 package for £20 a month and have experienced no problems at all.
Usage allowance is good too - 30Gb peak and 300Gb off peak a month - Which is more than I need.
Edit. - And they also only have 1 month contracts so you're not tied to them for a minimum 12 month thing.

Re: The perennial "which broadband?" question.
we have https://www.bethere.co.uk/ in work and it's superb, unfortunately its not available in my area as yet. I'm currently on Virgin ADSL and it's utter shite but the only one I can get.
