YouTube Problem
Help techy types!

When I try to play videos in YouTube I get the message 'Hello, you either have Javascript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player'.

I try and download the new version of Flash Player that YouTube directs me to but nothing seems to change. What's going on here?

I'm such a computer mong.

Mate, first of all download and install this Flash Player remover (which ensures you get rid of any old versions hanging around):

How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control

Then install the latest player:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash

Then restart your computer, and robert should be your mothers brother.

Cheers mate. I've done all the above but I still get the same message from YouTube. I'm properly perplexed!

Make sure you've got javascript turned on for You Tube - if you're using certain plugins it could be blocking it. Ones that block ads for example.
