As for the pages not updating, that's a setting on their browser. However, you can set pages to expire by putting the following lines in the head section of the HTML. <META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="-1"> This means that when the end user tries to load the page from their cache rather than directly from the web, the page will be marked as expired and the browser will be forced to download the latest version. |

Re: Help with my webpage
Thanks, dirty_sanchez! I've googled for an answer for weeks. Should have brought here right away.
More questions, not directed at you specifically: I guess the site could look a bit weird one viewed in a high resolution. I'm using 1024X768 and all the frames are fine with that, but if you use a higher res some of the "background images" might "loop", in the top frame for instance. IS there any easy way to get around that problem? |

Re: Help with my webpage
Yup.
Is your background picture set on the <body> tag? If so, use CSS to lay it out. You should really be using CSS all the way through your document. Put this in your head section: <style type="text/css"> body {background-image: url(images/yourbackgroundimage.jpg); background-repeat: no-repeat;} </style> |

Re: Help with my webpage
Aah, I don't know how to use CSS, as I said I'm an amateur coder.
Thanks anyway! |
