Right, so sky branded router is going on e-bay.

Any other recommendations for a wireless router, with ethernet ports that I can pick up for around £40-£50 that'll work with blueyonder?

Where do you live? Anywhere near Horwich? I only ask as if so, you can save a couple of quid on postage.

Unsure as to what a standard blueyonder modem is nowadays. If it's one of the old Motorola Surfboard ones, can't see any reason why it wouldn't work anyway.

So long as it has an ethernet port, it should do the job.

Stay clear of Belkin.

I bought the N1 Vision it installed fine but would only hold the connection for 15 minutes at a time, took it back and downgraded to the N1 and the same happened again.

Took that back as well and bought the D-Link DIR-635 Wireless N and it's been superb covers the entire house rarely dropping below a 'good' signal where the two Belkin ones dropped to very low if their was a bit of paper in the way.

Have two Laptops, Wii, PS3, PSP, DS and an Ipod Touch linked up to it no problems.

I could have told you that to start with. Netgear or Cisco (not linksys) are the only routers i've ever used.
