I'm still using auto drift. Knowing the tracks is still a big problem for me, the goldmine and rainbow things make my eyes bleed.

The rainbow one is hideous. I am getting a bit better on the gold mine one, but I prefer tracks where you can't fall off. I am also not entirely convinced at my choice of vehicle, I use waluigi's off road thing. It seems to do OK though. My 9 year old son set up a licence for himself yesterday and had a few challenges on worldwide. He is on about 6,000 points now, the git.

Re: Mario Kart Wii good buddy thread.
I'm using auto drift too, can't see that much benefit from manual drift (especially using bikes where you can wheelie and boost quite a bit anyway).
Anyone challenged my Coconut Mall time yet??
And do you boys remember F Zero X? N64 game, if you think Rainbow Road is mental you should have played that. 20 courses of upside down inside out eyeball bleeding mayhem to a Japanese heavy metal soundtrack. Awesome and epilepsy-inducing all rolled into one.

Re: Mario Kart Wii good buddy thread.
what the fuck are you all using auto drift for? You want to crash off at every corner and continually drift in the wrong direc tion like i do, like a man. Am out again tonight but well up for setting up a room tomorrow?

I'm in tomorrow. If its early enough our lad will play. I am going to try out this drift thing. I will report back with my findings.

Wooohooo.
My lad said yesterday, something that I think Nintendo should use on their adverts, "MarioKart is why God gave us fingers"

It's why god invented the words "for" "fuck's" "sake" "not" "another" "cunting" "blue" "cunting" "shell", "why" "does" "this" "cunting" "game" "hate" "me" "so" "fucking" "much".
