I've got nearly all golds now... but keep getting stitched right up in the last few GPs. The number of time I've been winning as I approach the finish line only to get smashed out of existence is startling! I just can't bring myself you stay in 3rd or 4th until the end... which is the way to do it I think.

Finally got online last night, had first few races, but was bit hit and miss. Think I had 9/10 races won 3, but managed to still only end up with about 5100 points, due to shitness in other races.
How are you all ranking up, what sort of points totals due you have?
Oh and thanks for all advice on wireless router thread, I acted like a true bird, asked loads of questions, tried out different routers, and finally went and bought the netgear RIS told me to to in post 2!

I have roughly 5100 too. I went up to about 5600 at the most and then had an utterly shit spell and went down to 4600 and am steady on 5100. I normally do really well in races and then get that fucking winged helmet twat that twats the leader. Is there anything you can do to counter that?

No there isn't as far as I can tell. The best you can do is (when you can see that it's coming) try to get close to other racers people so you take them out as well.
I've yet to get online, entirely down to the shitness of my wireless router. I'll be re-siting it soon so I can join in the fun!

It can be avoided, but mostly with luck. You either need a star (invulnerability thing) or if you're lucky enough to be doing one of the long jump thingies (like on rainbow road, that snowy one, mountain level - not good with level names) they cant hit you.
Gonna have to rep RIS as a techy genius! - apparently I'm not as I'm not allowed to rep RIS again, even though I dont remember ever doing it in the first place? |

I read somewhere that if you have a mushroom you can outrun it. Wait until its hovering above your head just about to twat you and then boost at the right time. Am yet to try it myself so cant say whether it works or not.
We need to organise a time we can all have a race, everytime I go on no one is there either! Although a few of you including RIS are showing up on my roster now. |

2 stars is bloody hard, I might have 1 star ive got 1 star or better in every cup on every level except mirror class I don't know if you need to do it on mirror as well to get the star.
I just added everyone's code but you have to reciprocate before is shows up.
