Guitar Hero 3
Ordered it last night for £50 online. How good is it? Anyone completed it yet? Are the songs any good?

Re: Guitar Hero 3
Decent price for it.
Tis a great game with some decent songs. Even if you don't know them you'll soon come to like them.
Easy and medium are ok, but as soon as you step up to Hard, the learning curve is very punishing. I don't dare go near Expert.

Sorted. What's your GT Sweeney and I'll have a game with you when I get it.
Oh, and Ted said that today he would be able to find it cheaper if he shopped around a bit for it. I betted him a Fiver he wouldnt find it cheaper. Malarkey is right.

Re: Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Crack. Get Guitar Hero 2... Much better songs, IMO.
I like both. I've done Easy/Med on both games and starting Hard on GH2(it's a bit easier) and finding it very difficult. Four fingers, five buttons... fast as fuck songs? Grr!

Re: Guitar Hero 3
I'm loving it so far, had it a week now, and I've almost completed Medium. The hardest part for me so far has been the battle with Slash. Can't beat him at the moment. 97% on My Name Is Jonas by Weezer is my best score so far. Fucking love that song.
Can't wait til Microsoft's PR people get off their asses and send me all the free shit I've requested so I can get on Live and play y'all.

You play guitar too don't you Chris?
I played it at work with a few lads and found it really easy, a bit like TAB for beginners. Medium was no problem.

I agree. It's kind of like playing really fast power chords in drop D. It's good for me too because it means I HAVE to use my haggard little finger which I'm too lazy to do on real guitar.

I punched a wall when I broke up with a girlfriend about five years ago, totally destroying the knuckle and sapping any strength I had in it. It's a right job to learn solos now, but I usually shortcut with a three fingered approach.
