Ta. It's not a particularly glamorous job (boring office stuff), but it's well paid and offers really good flexi time, which is really important as myself and some mates are in the process of launching a new music website, and I want to devote as much time as possible to writing reviews for it. And playing Grand Theft, natch.

Ha, I've just told loads of mates about the job, and they have all uttered expetives about my Grand Theft time ahead of congratulations. We all have our priorities sorted.

Sounds perfect then. I used to be a postie for 15 years. Got sick & fuckin tired of getting up in the middle of the night. Cycling around in the freezin fuckin cold. I put in for Volantry redundancy and went on the sick for a while. When they realised it wasnt going to be easy to get me back in work whilst being paid for doing nothing they suudenly granted my wish.
I set up my ebay business 18 months ago now and have never looked back. I have 3 kids and quality time with them, the wife,my pc and 360. I can go to all the games home & away too with not having to worry about work.
I do feel sorry for some of my mates who are trapped in there jobs with pensions & mortgages. Lifes to short .........
Hope you get the freedom to do what you enjoy dude. Sounds like this job will help to give you the freedom to do so.

Cheers! Yeah, I am hoping that if all goes well this will be my last proper job, as I am really hopeful that at the very least our website will eventually lead to me being able to do freelance writing for a living. In the meantime it will mean free records and gigs, which is good enough for starters. What do you sell on Ebay?

I started off selling Model railways, scalextric and your general hobby shop toys.
My dad had a huge train set in the attic when i was a kid & i loved it. Whilst working as a postie i collected all sorts of models as i new they were valuable and a good investment. I'm not into playing with the trains anymore but i new they could make me money. I built up about £10,000 worth of stock in about 3 years whilst working as a postie.
When i left Royal mail they gave me a few quid and i started up in that area. I now have 4 different shops. One selling the above, another selling childrens toys. One selling electrical items & the other brick a brack or anything i can make a few quid on. Ive done pretty well and employed my best mate in Yorkshire to work along side me. He has a massive unit to store all the items in. I do all the sales and he wraps them up and posts them.
So basically mines an office job too, but i'm working from home. This can not always be a good thing as distractions can become a big problem. Like GTA IV and The Liverpool Way for example.

That is nice work if you can get it.
Incidentally, do you sell the digital Scalextric? It looks amazing..

I have done in the past but don't have any sets in stock at present. The James Bond set is pretty cool and has sold very well.
