hmm...I haven't looked yet Nick, but found this much more detailed step by step guide on doing it which you will need:

Upgrading Your PS3 Hard Drive for More Storage Space - How to Upgrade Your PS3 Hard Drive

You basically need a Notebook SATA Hard Drive that runs at 5400 rpm (thats the speed of the existing PS3 drive, its assumed the PS3 firmware doesn't support faster drives). As for size, the author of the tutorial used 160Gb.

I pre-ordered a month ago from Amazon. If it doesn't arrive on launch day I'm going to go apoplectic, and write them a polite email asking them why it hasn't arrived. I've got a job interview on Friday, and I'm hoping that, if I get it, they will say the job starts mid May so I can live in Liberty City for a few weeks. I'd say that's worse than getting up at 6am on launch day.

If its anything like what it was when san andreas came out then youre gonna be fucked mate. I remember it wasnt until the 16th shop i tried that i found somewhere with it in stock, ended up bein sainsburys.

OXM gave it 10/10 and didn't have one bad thing to say about it.

It won't sell out either, SA sold a million copies in about a week in the UK and there were still plenty of copies left.
