Im talking about in-store Nick, I saw the Virgin offer with me own eyes on Saturday (and a mate of mine went down the Argos route yesterday).
Send me the Amazon link where it mentions games in the package, I didnt see that when I looked earlier, probably being a c*nt.

You'll need the storage though, when you start recording TV and sync'ing it to your PSP (if you have one).

Re: PS3 or XBOX 360
I can sign in to my account but can't connect to the Playstation Network at the moment, the bastards. I don't know what it is because the modem works for the PC, I can sign into the PS3 account but not the Playstation Network. Either the modem is fucked in some way or there's a problem with the PS3, or less likely a problem with the Playstation Network. Feel free to solve this, Weeksie lad.

Bear in mind I haven't got a PS3 yet, is there a browser built in to it? Can you get to other sites? Modem doesn't sound fucked if it works via PC.
For future reference, this might be useful:

Re: PS3 or XBOX 360
The PS3, right now, has hardly any good games at all. The best is probably Oblivion, which is a direct port of a two year old 360 game and FEAR, which is even older. Both are still great, mind you.
The 360 right now boasts some stunning games: Bioshock, FEAR, Halo 3, Mass Effect (out in Nov, I think), The Orange Box (Half-life 2 plus some other stuff).
I suppose there will eventually be a few more great games on PS3 as developers play catch-up, but it may be a while, and certainly most of the "big" releases will come out on both platforms.
I never owned a PS1 or 2, and the first console I bought since the days of the Megadrive was an XBox, so the choice was easy for me - that had all the games I wanted to play (Black, Fable, Knights Of The Old Republic, Halo, Doom 3, Far Cry etc etc) so it probably will be influenced by what type of games you like, and which publishers. I never really got into Metal Gear or any of the Jap stuff, I prefer Western games.
All the reports I read say that the PS3 has more "horsepower" but from what I've seen, I think it will be a while - if ever - if that extra power means that the PS3 has games on it that the 360 can't manage.
I don't go "live" to play ADD Yank kids on-line, so I can't comment on that bit.

Yeah it has its own browser and I can connect to other sites and the Playstation store etc, but it's really slow and usually takes a long time to sign in. I've tested the connection in the Network settings on the PS3 menu; ISP succeeds, Internet Connection succeeds, then it gets to Playstation Network and usually fails. Can't sign in on Resistance: Fall of Man and it's been like this for a few days. Will see what it's like tonight and let you know.
The only reason I mention the modem is it's gone funny a couple of times recently for a few hours and then started working again (PC and PS3), but it's working fine on PC at the moment.

Mrs Weeksie was adamant we needed a picture from that Brighton picture shop opposite Karen Millen, so got dragged in before the derby. And I must have been a right twat earlier, there is no way I saw that 2 game offer on Amazon.

Re: PS3 or XBOX 360
Just bought the XBox 360 Premium with Forza Motorsport 2 and an extra wireless controller free for £259.99 from my local Game shop. I also got Tiger Woods PGA Tour for £25 and bought Halo 3 and Bioshock and offset the cost of those 2 games by trading in my PSP and 2 games (I never used it, I'm not a very patient person and waiting for the thing to load used to drive me insane). I think I did quite well to get that lot for £292.97 and off-loading something that was sat in a drawer never getting used.
I ended up deciding to get the XBox after reading about the extra content for GTA IV and also Brendan's comments on not being a fan of Japanese games (I've never been a fan of those types of games either).
Is the dvd player on the XBox any good? I intend using the XBox in my bedroom and would ideally like it to double up as a dvd player.
I won't have time to try it out today as I'm off to see Arcade Fire in Manchester tonight and then am in work until 5pm tomorrow. If we get beat by Arsenal I may have to go on a Halo 3 killing spree tomorrow night.

Am just about to fire up the old girl now Nick, hopefully won't get the (very common) overheating issue that loads of people have had.
PS3: its the future.

Few tips.
1. Put the receipt in a safety deposit box, or carry it with you and never let it go.
2. Play it as often as possible, you have about 13 months and counting before it breaks so get your £300's worth in that time.
3. Enjoy
