I said so on the GF.... the morons are like sharks smelling blood. You have to be careful, otherwise they will follow you on here, clogging up this forum aswell!

Of course you can. We are looking for quality to join the FGF clique. And it needs to be plumped out with people from proper countries as it's a bit Scando-Welsh at the moment.

But you can't talk about games though...cos that'd be a bit dull.

Anyone seen the Constant Gardener then? I saw it the other night and have to say I was relatively impressed. Nowhere near as good as Goodnight and Good luck but still a damn fine film.

Amazon delivered the DVD to me yesterday but I've not watched it yet cos I was reading my latest Kazuo Ishiguro last night.

Mr Cath was in the games industry for years (Read: old fart who used to write things for the Omega) and he thinks all footie games are shite. I'll ask him to pop in here sometime.

I saw the film a couple of months ago and it was a bit of a let down, having already read the book. Don`t get me wrong, the film was decent, but movies rarely manages to equal the book, so maybe i should start doing it the other way around, see the film before i read the book?

The film is always worse than the book. The only time I've been satisfied with the film is Lord of the rings. The book is still better, but the film was ace.

saw it the other day & couldn't believe how good it was actually. as a rule I hate john le carre - too long spent watching alec guinness piss about doing nothing on foggy bridges as a child. but got dragged along & was pleasantly surprised. oh sorry - can I join in too?

I read "When we were orphans" by yer man Kazuo and although I thought it was good it certainly wasn't "Give it a load of award nominations" good.
